The usual dialing a number to call a person is about to change as the new web application that enables to register phone numbers and call by name is now available. The web app is known as SpellDial. It is an open web service platform developed by group of mostly students from Cebu City, Philippines headed by Jose Albert Chiu Padin.
SpellDial is applicable only for those who have setup a SpellDial account. The web app enables smartphone users to simply dial names instead of numbers making hard-to-remember numbers into easy-to-recall names. This new web app certainly makes connecting to people a whole lot easier.
Here’s an example:
Lance Corner’s username is lancecorner and it points to (63) 918-5591. Just type lancecorner and it will immediately connect you to Lance Corner. Anyone who dials lancecorner will be dialing (63) 918-5591.
Want to make to call a lot easier? Then try to use SpellDial now.
SpellDial service is available via the website http://www.spelldial.com.

This is really a cool app! I believe this would work well especially for businesses. If you want to reserve a room at your favorite hotel but don’t know the number? Just simply SpellDial!
