4th Runner Up - Elisa Najera of Mexico
3rd Runner Up - Vera Krasova of Russia
2nd Runner Up - Marianne Cruz Gonzalez of Dominican Republic
1st Runner Up - Taliana Vargas of Colombia
Special Awards
Miss Congeniality - Rebeca Moreno of El Salvador
Best in National Costume - Gavintra Photijak of Thailand

1. As I started to watch the show, turned to the person sitting beside me and stated “how much do you want to bet that at least 6 of the top 15 will be spanish?” Sorry I was wrong, it was 5.
Let me explain my perception of the Miss Universe pageant top 15:
#1 spanish
#2 spanish
#3 spanish
#4 spanish
#5 spanish
#6 Miss USA
#7 Miss black person (if Miss USA is not black)
#8 Miss host (host country contestant)
#9 Miss Blond (whichever)
So what does this tell us?
#10 to #15 (Choose six, not the best six just six, from the rest)

Why is it that only Miss USA keep falling? If I were to play lotto, my odds would never be that good in a million years.
How would that go? let me see. For $100,000 who would you pick to fall on their butts in the Miss Universe Pageant in 2007 and 2008? Miss USA. Two different people, same damn fall. Yeah right.

I am not surprised anymore why Latin American beauties won the pageant, they have the most beautiful and adorable beauty in the universe.
