Good news for fireworks enthusiasts, the First Philippine International PyroMusical Competition has just started. The event is expected to be one of the premier pyrotechnic events in the Philippines and to be participated by the leading pyrotechnic experts from around the world.

The World Pyro Olympics is postponed due to safety issues of the current firing venue. The Executive Committee decided to stage the event on January 2010. The fireworks companies from participating countries have also agreed to move the event. The event is originally scheduled on November 21, 28, December 5, 12 and 19.
